The data shows a rapid and exponential increase in digital artists' adoption of AI tools between 2020 and 2025, from approximately 5% to ~75%. This increase is driven by improved prototyping quality, accessibility, and time-saving process applications. Based on a hypothetical survey shown in Chart 2, artists demonstrate a significant improvement in productivity (illustrative figures: from ~8% to ~42%) and an even greater improvement in creativity (from ~10% to ~65%)—because AI tools facilitate rapid idea generation, automatic coloring, and design iterations that open new avenues for innovation. The practical benefits for artists include reduced time spent on routine work, the ability to quickly experiment with new styles, and increased productivity without sacrificing creative quality.
